To say I like food is an understatement… food consumes me. I eat when I’m happy, I eat when I’m sad. I eat while I do certain things, I eat when I don’t want to do certain things. I eat when I’m hungry, and I also eat when I’m so full that the only reasonable thing to do is to have a piece of chocolate. I know I’m not alone in this. Eating is life!
But before you think this is another “foodie blog” — let me stop you right there. I will not be posting restaurant reviews or recipes. (I find it hard to be critical, and I can’t cook, so there!)
Truth is, I don’t know what kind of blog this is… yet. What I do know is that, after years of trying this food fad here and that fad diet there, I am fed up. So, I’ve decided to put my money where my mouth is, by taking some nutrition courses. This blog serves to document and share what I learn, in hopes to make the idea of “nutrition” a little less complicated.
In the end, I’m just a girl, writing this blog, hoping you’ll come on this food journey with me.
